PVTIME – Indosolar Limited, a manufacturer of solar cells and modules, has announced that it has set up a 1.3GW solar module manufacturing plant at its Greater Noida facility in Uttar Pradesh and has commenced production of solar modules from 11 July 2024.
Indosolar is a subsidiary of Waaree Group, which acquired Indosolar in May 2022 to strengthen its PV manufacturing capabilities.
As of 30 June 2023, Waaree’s total PV module manufacturing capacity reached 12GW.
