PVTIME – On 13 July 2023, Changzhou Shichuang Energy Co.,Ltd.(688429.SH), a high-tech company mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of photovoltaic product processing, photovoltaic equipment and photovoltaic cells, released an announcement that it intends to launch wafer slicing and solar cell production project in Jiangsu Province of China, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan.
According to the announcement, 1,077,773,400 yuan of the funds will be used for equipment and 425,009,000 yuan will be used for supplies. The project is expected to be completed in 8 months and will have an annual production capacity of 4GW of silicon wafers and 4GW of silicon solar cells.
In addition, Scenergy was officially listed on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on 29 June 2023.
