PVTIME – A large-scale PV glass manufacturing project has recently been approved and is due to commence in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, China.
This particular project is initiated by Taiheyuan New Energy, a China-based company mainly engaged in renewable energy research and development, with a production capacity of 1.5 million MT of PV glass per year. A total of 3.6 billion yuan will be invested in the construction of four production lines, each with a capacity of 1200t/d.
The project will be completed in April 2026, with an estimated output value of 5 billion yuan per year, an annual tax payment of 200 million yuan, and employment for more than 1,000 local people.
