PVTIME – The local government of Laizhou City, Shandong Province, China has approved the establishment of a 5GW HJT manufacturing base initiated by Grand Sunergy.
The project forms part of a 10GW solar product industrial park in Laizhou City. It is planned to be completed in three phases. The first phase will achieve a production capacity of 1.25GW of solar modules, then another 1.25GW of modules for the second phase, and a further 2.5GW of modules for the third, with a combined capacity of 5GW of high-efficiency HJT solar modules per year.
