PVTIME – A fishery PV power plant has recently started construction in Tangshan City, China.
This particular project was initiated by China Resources New Energy (CR New Energy) Tangshan Branch, with a total investment of 4.52 billion Yuan. It is designed to have an installed capacity of 1.5GWp. Once operational, it is estimated to generate 1430GWh of clean electricity per year, which is equivalent to saving 430,000MT of standard coal and reducing 1,178,000MT of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
The construction of the project is of great significance in promoting the transformation and upgrading of the energy structure and achieving green and low-carbon development. When fully completed, the project will significantly increase the clean energy self-sufficiency rate of Tangshan City, reduce the dependence on traditional energy sources and make a positive contribution to the green and sustainable development of the region.
