1.8GW! Huasun Supplies HJT Modules for CGDG’s Large-scale PV Plant in China

PVTIME – Anhui Huasun Energy Co., Ltd. (Huasun), a company with a leading team in HJT solar cell R&D and manufacturing, has recently achieved a significant milestone in its journey to bring HJT solar modules into the mainstream of utility-scale photovoltaic power plants. Huasun manufactured and delivered 1.8GW of HJT modules to the China Green Development Investment Group (CGDG) in a remarkable three-month timeframe starting in May 2024.

Huasun’s modules are destined for CGDG’s ambitious 4GW PV project in Ruoqiang, Xinjiang, China. the panels help reduce ground temperatures and regulate the thermal balance of solar power system on the edge of the Taklamakan desert. The modules are installed at a height of 3 metres and will significantly increase soil moisture retention by 30-60%, demonstrating the synergy between renewable energy production, sustainable development and ecological restoration of the land.

Huasun is pleased to supply its reliable HJT modules with UV protection film and edge sealing. These features ensure excellent performance of the modules near the desert. The modules’ high bifaciality and conversion efficiency maximise the use of the region’s abundant sunlight, ensuring reliable and efficient power generation.

As the largest HJT manufacturer, Huasun has supplied 7 GW of HJT products to over 40 countries worldwide. In particular, Huasun has supplied more than 650MW to Bulgaria’s renowned EPC company INERCOM for its HJT projects in the country.
