PVTIME – TBEA Co., Ltd. (600089.SH), a leading manufacturer engaged in the production of high-end power transmission and transformation equipment, renewable energy and new materials, announced that it intends to set up renewable energy generation facilities to promote its solar and wind power generation businesses, with a total investment of 1,086,800,000 yuan.
According to the announcement, an agricultural solar power plant with an installed capacity of 200MW will be constructed by a subsidiary of TBEA, with a total investment of 1,086,580,000 yuan. The project is located in Hebei Province, China, where the average annual solar radiation is 5,513.6 MJ/m2. Then, the annual effective use hours of the project is calculated to be 1,538.18h, and the average annual power generation of the project is approximately 37,691.44 million kW-h.
A wind power and energy storage project with an installed capacity of 100MW will be built in Anhui Province, China, with a total investment of 836,085,800 yuan. The wind power density of the plant is D-2, and the annual effective use hours of the project is 2,970.00h, then the average annual power generation of the project is approximately 29,700.00 million kW-h.
The above projects are planned to reduce the use of fossil fuels locally, and reduce pollution as well as carbon emissions. In addition, the projects will provide clean electricity and benefit the local economy.
