PVTIME – On 20 September 2023, Guangdong Zhengye Technology Co.,Ltd.(300410.SZ), a Chinese high-tech manufacturer of intelligent test equipment, announced on 20 September 2023 that it intends to launch a rooftop PV power project with an installed capacity of 19,445.35kWp in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China.
The project, with a total investment of 101,315,800 yuan, is expected to be completed within one year. It is expected to operate for twenty-five years and generate an average of 19,635,200 kWh of electricity per year, with approximately 80% of the project’s electricity generated for captive use and the remaining 20% for sale to the grid.
In addition to reducing carbon dioxide emissions and generating profit from the solar system, the company plans to establish a PV business that covers the upstream and downstream industrial chain, forming a coordinated development between PV cells, PV modules, PV welding tape and distributed PV plants.
