PVTIME – A PV solar module and cell factory has recently been planned in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China.
The project is initiated by JN Tech (Gennar), a joint venture of China Huaneng Group Clean Energy Technology Research Institute and a subsidiary of Envision Energy, which is mainly engaged in wind power operation and maintenance, digitalisation, technological transformation and development of new energy resources.
It is planned to achieve production capacity of 10GW of high-efficiency solar modules and 5GW of solar cells, R&D centre, 500MW shared green power storage, energy storage equipment innovation centre and incremental distribution network, with a total investment of 10.2 billion yuan.
The project is expected to achieve an annual output value of about 31 billion yuan and an annual tax payment of about 3.1 billion yuan after reaching production.
