PVTIME – On 8 December 2024, a solar cell and module factory with a production capacity of 10GW, initiated by Sunrev Solar (Jiangsu Sunrev Energy Technology Co., Ltd.), is operational in Yangzhou City, China.
The construction of the new plant started in April 2024 with a total investment of 10 billion yuan. It is designed to produce 10GW of n-type 210 TOPCon solar modules per year. The project is expected to achieve an invoiced revenue of more than 5 billion yuan in 2025 after commissioning.
Founded in 2008, Sunrev Group has been engaged in photovoltaic energy for more than 10 years and operates 9 production bases in Yangzhou, Gaoyou, Suqian, Jiangyin and other places in Jiangsu Province, China. Its business covers the R&D and production of monocrystalline silicon wafers, large-size monocrystalline cells and large-size high-efficiency modules, as well as the downstream construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants.
