PVTIME – Qinghai Lihao Semiconductor Material Co. (Lihao Semiconductor), a technology-based company focused on the development of semiconductor materials, recently launched the first phase of its high-purity polysilicon and crystal silicon material project in Sichuan Province, China.
The project aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 100,000MT of high-purity silicon material for PV solar production and 2,000MT of electronic grade crystal silicon material, with a total investment of 110 billion yuan.
The project is scheduled to be completed in August 2024 and will generate an output value of approximately 20 billion yuan and a tax revenue of 2 billion yuan when put into operation.
