PVTIME – Anhui Huasun Energy Co., Ltd. (Huasun), a company with a leading team in HJT solar cell R&D and manufacturing, has recently signed a distribution agreement with Quality Solar Distribution (QSD), a well-known solar module supplier in Thailand, for the distribution of 150MW of HJT solar modules in Thailand.
The two sides enter into a deep partnership to jointly promote the development of solar power in Thailand. Under the agreement, Huasun will supply 150MW of HJT’s high performance, high efficiency and high reliability products, including Everest Series G12R rectangular modules, to QSD over the next three years. And QSD, as a leading global distributor of renewable energy services and PV products, will facilitate the local distribution of these PV products through its well-established distribution network in Thailand. The future cooperation will also include the localisation of floating solar power applications.
Located in the tropics with numerous islands, Thailand has immense potential in the solar market. Huasun’s HJT products have several advantages such as a low temperature coefficient, which makes them particularly superior in power generation performance in hot climates. Coupled with the continued support of the Thai government and a series of supportive policies, this has further boosted the development of the local solar market in Thailand.
