PVTIME – JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (JA Solar)(002459.SZ), a leading manufacturer of high performance photovoltaic products, recently signed a cooperation agreement with Paramount Group, a Bangladeshi energy group, to supply all components for the 150MW solar power plant in Bangladesh, which is currently under construction.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of December 2023. When completed, it will be the largest PV plant in Bangladesh in 2023 and the second largest in the country.
Bangladesh is rich in light resources and has favourable conditions for the development of PV. Paramount Group has far-reaching influence in Bangladesh, and JA Solar is honoured to establish cooperation with Paramount Group to work together on solar power project to create value for the Bangladesh PV market and promote the transformation of the local energy structure.
