164 Million Yuan! Guosheng Wins HJT Solar Module Order from CSCEC

PVTIME – Guosheng Shian Technology Co., Ltd. (603778.SH), a China-based company mainly engaged in the photovoltaic and forest landscape business, recently announced that one of its holding subsidiaries has received an order for HJT modules from China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Ltd. of CSCEC, worth 164 million yuan (approximately 22.57 million US dollars).

The HJT modules will be used in the second phase of a 4GW solar power plant in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China with a total investment of 14.5 billion yuan. The No.2 220kV booster station of the plant was completed in April 2024. Once the 750kV booster station is completed, the plant will be connected to it via four 220kV booster stations to achieve full capacity grid-connected power generation. The project will then provide 6.8 billion kWh of clean electricity annually, saving 2.72 million tonnes of standard coal and reducing carbon emissions by 6.8873 million tonnes.
