17.4 Billion Yuan! GrandSunergy to Launch HJT Cell/module and Silicon Material

PVTIME – On 6 November 2023, GrandSunergy has signed an agreement with the local government to build a PV industry production base in Laizhou City, Shandong Province, China.

It is planned to invest 5.2 billion yuan to achieve a production capacity of 10GW of high-efficiency HJT cells and large-size modules per year. And once completed, it will generate annual sales revenue of 7.5 billion yuan, annual profit of 1 billion yuan, tax payment of 7.5 billion yuan, and provide more than 1,200 jobs for local people.

In addition, on 27 October 2023, GrandSunergy launched the first phase of the silicon material production base in Ruoqiang County, China, with an investment of 12.2 billion yuan. In the first phase, it planned to achieve annual production capacity of 50,000 tonnes of polycrystalline silicon, 10GW of high-efficiency n-type silicon pulling, 5GW of ultra-thin n-type large-size wafers, 2GW of high-efficiency HJT cells and 2GW of large-size HJT modules by June 2025.A total of 30 billion will be invested in the whole project, and it is estimated to generate annual output value of about 7 billion yuan and provide 1,200 jobs for local people once in operation.
