PVTIME – On February 14, Hoshine Silicon Industry Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Hoshine Silicon or the Company) (603260.SH) announced to invest 17.5 billion yuan on its wholly-owned subsidiary in Xinjiang Province to build a high-purity polysilicon project with an annual output of 200,000 MT.
The company plans to carry out the Silicon-based New Material Project in Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone (Industrial Zone), Urumqi City, Xinjiang Province, China. And there will be polysilicon plant with an annual output of 200,000 MT, caustic soda plant with an annual output of 100,000 MT, as well as supporting instruments and auxiliary works involved in the project. The construction period of the project is expected to be from May 2022 to May 2025.
Hoshine Silicon is one of the core industries of Ningbo Hoshine Group Co., Ltd. It is a national-level key high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production and sales focusing on new silicon-based materials. The company has a whole silicon industry chain, in which industrial silicon production has ranked first in China for six years, while organic silicon production capacity is the first in China.Furthermore, the company expects a net profit of 8.5 billion-8.7 billion yuan in 2021, a year-on-year increase of 505.28%-519.52%.
