PVTIME – The East Hope Group disclosed on September 8 that a groundbreaking ceremony of its Photovoltaic Industry Chain Project was held in Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China.
According to the company, 18.27 billion yuan will be invested in this particular project. For the first phase, the company plans to reach production capacity of 62,500 MT of polysilicon, 10GW of crystal silicon pulling, 10GW of silicon slices, 10GW of solar cells, and 10GW of solar modules. A total output value is estimated to be 30 billion yuan and more than 7,000 jobs will be offered once upon completion of the whole project.
