PVTIME – On 20 June 2023, PV giant LONGi announced that it intends to issue global depositary receipts (GDRs) overseas with domestic additional A-shares as underlying securities and list them on the SIX Swiss Exchange, and the additional A-shares underlying securities represented by this GDR issue will not exceed 8% of the total ordinary share capital of LONGi before this issue.
The total proceeds to be raised from this issue are expected to not exceed RMB19.996 billion for the investment of the 46GW monocrystalline silicon ingot and wafer production and 30GW monocrystalline cell projects in Erdos, the 6.6GW monocrystalline silicon ingot and 2.8GW monocrystalline module projects in Malaysia and the 3.35GW monocrystalline cell project in Vietnam.
