PVTIME – Chinese software and IT services firm Leascend Technology (300051.SZ) has struck a major deal with Huasun Energy, a global leader in heterojunction (HJT) solar technology. The agreement sees Leascend’s subsidiary LPVHJT supply at least 1,000MW of Grade A G12 HJT solar cells to Huasun, with the contract value exceeding 100% of Leascend’s 2023 audited core revenue—totalling over ¥200 million yuan.
Leascend said the deal marks a key expansion of its solar cell sales and highlights customer confidence in its products and services. The company stressed it does not expect reliance on this single client, ensuring no impact on operational independence. Fulfilling the contract is set to boost its 2024 financial performance, with details to follow in upcoming reports.
