PVTIME – Recently, Anhui Huasun Energy Co. (Huasun), a company with a leading team in HJT solar cell R&D and manufacturing, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Leascend Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. (Leascend, 300051.SZ), a China-based company mainly engaged in providing software products and information technology (IT) services, for the purchase and sale of solar cells and wafers and other cooperation.
Under the new partnership, Leascend will supply 1GW of high-efficiency HJT cells to Huasun and 180 million pieces of Huasun’s 210 n-type monocrystalline silicon half-cut wafers to Leascend.
In addition, the two sides will jointly promote the extensive application of HJT cells in the PV market. Huasun and Leascend will work together to promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the photovoltaic field. In the future, both parties will leverage their respective core strengths to broaden and deepen the HJT industry track, innovate industry synergies in technology research and development, business models and other aspects, and provide more comprehensive and advanced new energy solutions to global customers.
