PVTIME – On 3 June 2024, a manufacturing base mainly engaged in the production of solar modules and photovoltaic mounting was launched in Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, China.
The project was established by a new wholly-owned subsidiary of Tangshan Haitai New Energy Technology Co. (Haitai Solar, 835985.BJ), a leading provider of new energy solutions and solar modules, with a total investment of 200 million yuan.
The project is designed to produce 1GW of solar modules and 1GW of photovoltaic mounting products per year. And it is expected to promote solar energy production in the region by generating approximately 1 billion yuan of annual output value, with tax payment of 20 million yuan per year. Meanwhile, more than 150 jobs will be created for local people.
