Haitai Solar earned 2.126 billion yuan in H1, reflecting a 26.76% YoY decline. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies stood at 63,942,700 yuan, marking a YoY increase of 84.83%.
The company reported a decline in operating income due to a gradual downward trend in module sales prices, which was caused by unstable polysilicon material prices and changes in the international trade environment during the first half. For the second quarter, the company achieved a growth in net profit through expanding the gross profit margin. This was made possible by a 23.46% decline in raw material cell prices and an overall decrease in cost that exceeded the decrease in sales.
