PVTIME – On 17 October 2024, Arctech Solar Holding Co., Ltd. (Arctech, 688408.SH), a leading manufacturer and supplier of smart solar trackers, fixed-tilt structures and BIPV systems for utility-scale and commercial solar PV projects worldwide, signed a supply agreement with Chine Energy International Engineering Co., Ltd. (Energy China), a leading power engineering and construction company, to collaborate on the Haden PV project in Saudi Arabia.
Under the terms of the agreement, Arctech will supply its SkyKine II solar tracker to the Haden PV project to ensure the power conversion and lifetime of the plant, as well as to improve the return on investment of the plant in the desert terrain and windy scenarios of Western Saudi Arabia.
The Haden PV project is one of three solar PV projects being developed by ACWA Power and PIF in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is part of PIF’s commitment to develop 70% of Saudi Arabia’s renewable energy by 2030, in line with the country’s National Renewable Energy Programme.
