PVTIME – A large-scale solar PV film factory has recently stated operations in Shanxi Province, China.
The new plant was initiated by Shangxi Sinopont, a PV film supplier of Jinko, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan. It is planned to put into production in three phases, building a total of 40 production lines, with an output value of up to 4 billion yuan. The project is designed to produce 400,000,000 square metres of PV film per year and supply the solar products mainly to North China and overseas markets. The first phase of the project includes nine production lines with annual production capacity of 100 million square metres of PV film.
