PVTIME – Shandong Jinxitai Group, a large comprehensive high-tech enterprise group engaged in the development and utilisation of mineral resources, has recently signed with Shandong Huate Magnetism Technology Co. (Huate Magnet), a China-based company specialising in superconducting magnets and related equipment, for a photovoltaic sand project.
The two sides agreed to invest in the photovoltaic sand project, which will be located in Lanling Photovoltaic Science and Technology Industrial Park, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan to produce 5 million tonnes of photovoltaic sand. When fully operational, it is expected to produce 5 million tonnes of high-purity silicon material for photovoltaic products every year.
