PVTIME – DAH Solar Co., Ltd., an innovation-driven and technology-leading PV product manufacturing company, signed a cooperation agreement with China Three Gorges Corporation Shanxi Branch and the Management Committee of Jinzhong Development Zone of Shanxi Province, China, on 3 June 2023. The three parties plan to build a 7GW high-efficiency n-type silicon wafer and 7GW high-efficiency n-type cell manufacturing project with a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan.
This special high-efficiency n-type silicon wafer and cell production base will be an important step for DAH Solar to improve its integrated industrial layout in the next five years. It is expected that the three parties will jointly make full use of their advantages to promote the rapid and high-quality development of renewable energy in the region, which is a major supplier of fossil fuels to the country, and contribute to the dual-carbon goals.
