PVTIME – GCL System Integration Technology Co. (GCLSI), a leading photovoltaic (PV) company in China, announced on 15 February 2023 that it intends to invest and launch a 12GW high-efficiency solar module project in FuNing, Jiangsu Province of China, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan.
The project is expected to start production by the end of October 2023 to meet the market demand for mainstream and new high-efficiency PV modules. The production base is designed with intelligent and professional production lines for large-scale manufacturing of PV products, and is expected to support the company’s core PV business, further expand its market share and strengthen its leading position in the industry.
