PVTIME – Renshine Solar, a developer of perovskite solar cells, recently announced a conversion efficiency of 18.4% in steady-state MPPT on its large 1200mm*600mm single junction perovskite module from its new production line with capacity of 150MW. The new breakthrough has been certified by the Chinese National Institute of Metrology.
This particular production line was operational since January 2024. RenShine Solar. It aims to achieve mass production of 1.2m*0.6m perovskite modules with 20% efficiency by mid-2024. It plans to develop gigawatt-scale production lines to further expand its capacity.
Renshine Solar’s large 1.2m*0.6m modules are designed to be used in scenarios such as power plants, distributed photovoltaics and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). In the future, the project will be upgraded to produce higher efficiency full perovskite laminated module products.
