PVTIME – Anhui Huasun Energy Co., Ltd. (Huasun), a company with a leading team in HJT solar cell R&D and manufacturing, recently announced that it will build an intelligent factory to produce monocrystalline silicon materials for HJT products in Yinchuan City, China.
The new facility will be jointly invested by Huasun and the local government of Yinchuan City, with a planned investment of 4.5 billion yuan (approximately US$618.75 million). It is designed to produce monocrystalline silicon materials for HJT solar products with an annual capacity of 20GW and an annual output value of 6 billion yuan (approximately US$825 million).
As the industrial pioneer of heterojunction technology in China, Huasun has supplied about 5GW of HJT products to more than 40 countries around the world. Huasun now has 20GW of high-efficiency HJT product capacity, making it the largest HJT manufacturer in the world. The company plans to reach 40GW of HJT capacity by the end of 2025.
