PVTIME – Anhui Huasun Energy Co., Ltd. (Huasun), a company with a leading team in HJT solar cell R&D and manufacturing, recently announced that the P1 of its smart factory for the production of monocrystalline silicon materials for HJT products in Yinchuan City, China has been approved.
The new facility will be jointly invested by Huasun and the local government of Yinchuan City, with a planned investment of 4.5 billion yuan (approximately US$618.75 million). It is designed to produce mono-crystalline silicon materials for HJT solar products with an annual capacity of 20GW and an annual output value of 6 billion yuan (approximately US$825 million).
As the industrial pioneer of heterojunction technology in China, Huasun has supplied approximately 5GW of HJT products to more than 40 countries around the world. Huasun now has 20GW of high-efficiency HJT product capacity, making it the largest HJT manufacturer in the world. The company plans to reach 40GW of HJT capacity by the end of 2025.
