PVTIME – ReneSola, a leading fully integrated solar project developer, has recently started the construction of its large-scale PV manufacturing base in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, China.
This special project is designed to reach an annual production capacity of 10GW of solar modules and related products in the first phase, and then 10GW of solar cells, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan. Advanced photovoltaic product production lines, combined with independently developed technology, will be introduced to the new facility to create an efficient, stable and environmentally friendly production process, to provide high-quality products for the global photovoltaic market.
The new project is an important part of ReneSola’s ram up plan, which will establish production bases in a number of regions, including Shandong Province, Henan Province and North America, to create a network to cover the solar energy industry around the world. It is expected to increase its scale efficiency and cost advantage through large-scale production, intelligent management and manufacturing to maintain its leading position in the renewable energy industry.
