PVTIME – Qingdao Gaoce Technology Co., Ltd. (688556.SH)(hereinafter referred to as Gaoce Tech), a company specialized in R&D, production and sales of cutting equipment for hard and brittle materials and cutting tools, disclosed an announcement that it intends to increase its production capacity by 5GW with a total investment of 210 million yuan.
The project is expected to be completed within 4 months to boost its cutting and slicing capacity to meet customers’ needs, Gaoce Tech stated.
This is the third time for Gaoce Tech to expand its production capacity following the first phase of a diamond line project in Huguan City and the second phase of 12 GW large-sized solar wafer project in Jianhu City in the year of 2022. Thus the total production capacity of Gaoce Tech’s projects, including those under construction and planned, has reach 52GW.
