PVTIME – Gansu Jingang Solar Co., Ltd.(300093.SZ) (Golden Solar) is pleased to announce that its 4.8GW HJT cell and module production line at its production base in Jiuquan City has been successfully completed and the first batch of 210 double-sided microcrystalline heterojunction half-cell cells with a conversion efficiency of over 25.0% has been rolled off.
This is the first and largest mass production base to produce 210 double-sided microcrystalline heterojunction half-cell cells at GW level in China so far. It adopts CVD equipped with double-sided microcrystalline technology and PVD with higher performance materials on the low-cost 210 size wafers to produce HJT with a conversion efficiency of more than 25.0%.
The project was jointly initiated by Guangdong Ouhao Group Co., Ltd. and Golden Solar, with a total investment of 4.191 billion yuan. And it is expected to reduce the cost while improving the performance of the products, and provide high-efficiency HJT cells and modules to overseas customers as the HJT a mainstream products in the PV industry.
