PVTIME – Arctech Solar Holding Co., Ltd.(Arctech, 688408.SH), a leading manufacturer and supplier of smart solar trackers, fixed-tilt structures and BIPV systems for utility-scale and commercial solar PV projects worldwide, recently announced the opening of a solar tracker factory in Brazil.
The new manufacturing facility is located in Estado de Bahia and has an annual production capacity of 3GW of solar trackers. It is Arctech’s sixth manufacturing facility and its third overseas manufacturing facility. The products will be supplied to the Brazilian and Latin American markets.
The cumulative shipments of Arctech’s tracker products in the Latin American market exceeded 4GW and ranked among the top five in terms of shipments in 2023. In addition, Arctech won a number of solar tracker orders, including 468MW and 160MW in Brazil, 236MW in Argentina and others in Chile and Colombia.
The new factory in Brazil is an important driver for Arctech’s globalisation and is expected to provide customers with reliable tracker systems to jointly build a sustainable future with renewable energy.
