PVTIME – On 16 December 2024, Suzhou Maxwell Technologies Co., Ltd. (Maxwell, 300751.SZ), a high-end solar cell equipment manufacturer, has completed its new production project in Suzhou City, China.
With a total investment of 2.3 billion yuan, the new facility includes a large workshop capable of supplying 40 HJT production lines per year, an R&D centre, a testing centre, an administration building, a warehouse and logistics centre, a staff dormitory and other buildings.
And it is mainly used for independent research and development, design and manufacture of the whole production lines for double-sided microcrystalline heterogeneous junction high efficiency solar cells, including equipment independently innovated by Maxwell, such as PECVD vacuum coating equipment, PVD vacuum coating equipment, many other automation equipment, which can achieve an annual output value of nearly 20 billion yuan.
