PVTIME – Hoshine Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. (603260.SH) recently announced that it intends to invest in and build silicon material, PV glass and high-purity silicon projects with a total investment of 42.5 billion yuan.
Hoshine (Xinjiang Central), a subsidiary of Hoshine, will be responsible for the silicon-based new material industry integration project (20GW photovoltaic module project) with an investment of 20.5 billion yuan, and the PV glass project with an annual output of 1.5 million tonnes of ultra-thin high-transmission photovoltaic glass with an investment of 4.455 billion yuan.
Meanwhile, Hoshine (East Xinjiang), a subsidiary of Hoshine, will start a silicon production project with an annual output of 200,000 tonnes of high-purity crystal silicon, with an investment of 17.631 billion yuan.
In addition, Hoshine released its financial report for the first quarter of 2023. Its operating revenue was 5.729 billion yuan, down 10.35% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 1.003 billion yuan, down 51.11% year on year. And the basic earnings per share was 0.87 yuan.
