PVTIME – On 12 September 2023, Jiangsu Boamax Technologies Group Co (002514.SZ), a company mainly engaged in heavy truck power exchange, energy storage, comprehensive energy, power grid flexibility peak shaving projects, R&D, manufacturing and sales of solar cells, signed with China Huaneng and the People’s Government of Huaiyuan County, China for the construction of distributed solar project.
The new project is intended to achieve an installed capacity of 1GW, with an investment of 5 billion yuan. It will commence shortly, utilizing Boamax’s independent research and development of a novel, high-efficiency HJT modules. Once completed, the solar system as a whole will generate roughly 1 billion KWh of electricity annually, while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by around 1 million tonnes per year.
