PVTIME – Tangshan Haitai New Energy Technology Co.,Ltd. (835985.BJ) announced on 9 June that it intends to build a 10GW TOPCon solar cell project with a total investment of 5 billion yuan in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, China.
The first phase of the project is designed to achieve a production capacity of 5GW of TOPCon high-efficiency photovoltaic cells with an investment of approximately 2.5 billion yuan, of which 1.7 billion yuan will be invested in fixed assets.
In addition, Haitai New Energy’s business mainly includes PV module sales, solar power plant development and construction for sale, and PV power plant EPC services. Its sales revenue of PV modules reached 5.822 billion yuan, that of solar power plants 236 million yuan, PV modules 188 million yuan, construction and engineering 72 million yuan and trackers 52 million yuan.
