500MW! PV Mounting Supplier Kingfeels Partners with TNEC on Solar Plant in Malaysia

PVTIME – Recently, China-based PV mounting system provider Xiamen Kingfeels Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Kingfeels) and Malaysia’s TNB Engineering Corporation (TNEC) have agreed to build and operate a 500MW solar power project in Malaysia.

The two parties will jointly develop the solar power plant, including construction, operation and maintenance, and Kingfeels will provide mounting systems for the project. Currently, 75MW of products are being delivered and approximately 100MW will be delivered by the end of 2024.

As a multi-disciplinary engineering, design and consultancy company operating in the solar energy industry in Malaysia, TNEC has successfully completed the EPCC of 3 large-scale solar plants with a total capacity of 109 MWac, including 50 MWac TNB Solar Sepang, 29 MWac Leader Solar Energy and 30 MWac TNB Bukit Selambau, in the last 5 years. Kingfeels, a high-tech PV mounting system company, is mainly engaged in R&D and production of high quality mounting products for various scenarios with customised turnkey solutions.

This particular project is expected to greatly promote the development of green energy in Malaysia, reduce carbon emissions, protect the environment and benefit local residents. At the same time, it will also provide valuable experience for the internationalisation of China’s PV industry.
