PVTIME – On November 3, the official website of the People’s Government of Rugao City, Jiangsu Province issued a notice on “Implementation Opinions on Rugao City’s Roof Distributed PV Development Project”. The installed PV capacity in Rugao is about 525.86MWp, and the period of the project is 2021-2025.
The preliminary plan is as follows:
In the year of 2021, the planned installed capacity is 80-100MWp. The project will start with the roofs of the government agencies and villages with better construction conditions, and the roofs of villages with strong willingness of villagers.
In the year of 2022, the planned installed capacity is 180-200MWp. The construction areas involve the sites started in previous year and the government agencies, public buildings, parks, and the roof of rural households.
In the duration of 2023-2025, the planned installed capacity is 200-300MWp. Mainly construct in industrial and commercial buildings.
