PVTIME – Hunan Huamin Holdings Co. (300345.SZ), a leading manufacturer and distributor of wear-resistant cast products, announced on 5 September 2023 that its holding subsidiary, Honsun (Yunnan), has signed a monocrystalline silicon wafer supply agreement with Astronergy Solar, an intelligent manufacturing company focusing on photovoltaic modules.
Under the agreement, Huamin will supply 15GW of monocrystalline silicon wafers to Astronergy for three years, from 1st September 2023 to 31 August 2026, at prices subject to monthly negotiation. The estimated total value of the contract is 6.3 billion yuan, based on the current price of monocrystalline silicon wafers.
Notably, this is the third significant wafer order that Huamin has won since early August 2023. The previous two orders were valued at 5.5 billion yuan and 4.4 billion yuan respectively, and the total value of all three orders is approximately 16.2 billion yuan.
