PVTIME – On 9 August 2023, CSI Solar Co., Ltd.(688472.SH), a subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ), released an announcement that Canadian Solar (USA) Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Solar, recently signed a solar module supply agreement with a customer.
According to the announcement, Canadian Solar (USA) will supply 7GW of solar modules to the customer from 2024 to 2030. 3GW of the modules will be confirmed by the customer 2 years prior to delivery.
This particular long-term order is considered as a continuous recognition of Canadian Solar’s products by major overseas customers.
