PVTIME – Trina Solar Co., Ltd. (688599.SH) released an announcement on its application for issuing convertible corporate bonds to non-specific objects.
According to previous announcement, this project will locate in Xining Economic and Technological Development Zone, Xining City, Qinghai Province of China. The company intends to raise a funds of no more than 8,864,751,400 yuan, of which 6.28 billion yuan of the net funds raised will be invested in 35GW Czochralski silicon project with total estimated investment of 8.5779831 billion yuan after deducting the issuance expenses, and the rest 2.5847514 billion yuan will for working capital and bank loans repayment.
Yet the application needs to be registered in the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), and related details will be disclosed by the company later.
