PVTIME – Jiangsu Akcome Science and Technology Co., Ltd.(Akcome)(002610.SZ), a leading company mainly engaged in the development and operation of power generation units from the solar power industry, released its 2022 annual results report on 24 April 2023, stating that its operating revenue in 2022 was approximately 6.691 billion yuan, an increase of 164.34% year on year. And its net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed company was a loss of approximately 834 million yuan. Its basic earnings per share was a loss of 0.1861 yuan.
According to the previous report, its operating revenue for the same period in 2021 was approximately 2.531 billion yuan, and its net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was a loss of approximately 406 million yuan, while its basic earnings per share was a loss of 0.0906 yuan.
The company said that during the reporting period in 2022, the continuous increase in the prices of silicon, cells and other upstream raw materials, the pre-commissioning of high-efficiency cell module projects and the provision for impairment of fixed assets had negatively affected the company’s performance.
Akcome also announced that it intends to issue shares to specific targets to raise up to 300 million yuan for the 2.42GW high-efficiency heterojunction cell manufacturing project in Huzhou City, China, after deducting relevant issuance costs.
