PVTIME – Yangling Metron New Materials Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Metron”), a Chinese manufacturer of electroplated diamond wires and other super-hard diamond tools, announced that it will be establishing a high-efficiency electroplating diamond wire production project in Xinyang City of China’s Shaanxi Province.
According to the statement, in order to meet future strategic development needs and expand its business scale, Metron intends to use its wholly-owned subsidiary Yangling Meichang Technology Co. as the main body of implementation for the new project.
The project will build 257 high-efficiency electroplating diamond wire and supporting diamond wire busbar production lines for approximately 500 million yuan. The preliminary plan of the project is divided into three phases for construction. The first phase of 89 production lines is scheduled to be put into operation at the end of 2021; the second phase of 56 production lines is scheduled to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2022; construction for the third phase will be determined according to the actual construction completion of the project and market demand. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project will have an annual output of 30 million kilometers of electroplated wire.
