PVTIME – Just now, leading Chinese module manufacturers JA Solar, JinkoSolar, and LONGi jointly issued a statement detailing the standardization plan for module products utilizing M10 wafers.
Below is a translation of the statement:
The M10 silicon wafer has been widely recognized by the industry since its introduction. However, there are differences in the technical routes, design concepts, and installation methods of module products between various manufacturers, which cause certain problems for downstream applications.
In order to further strengthen the collaboration between upstream and downstream industries and provide convenience for system design, installation, and customer decision making, JA Solar, JinkoSolar, and LONGi have conducted open and in-depth exchanges and reached a consensus on the standardization of M10 series module products. The companies will advocate the uniform adoption of these standards so as to promote the standardized and healthy development of the entire photovoltaic industry.
The standardization plan of the M10 series products agreed by the three parties is as follows:
54 cell version modules
Dimension: 1722mm*1134mm
Mounting hole spacing: 1400mm
72 cell version modules
Dimension: 2278mm*1134mm
Mounting hole spacing: 400mm, 1400mm
78 cell version modules
Dimension: 2465mm*1134mm
Mounting hole spacing: 400mm, 1200mm/1500mm
