PVTIME – On May 4, Yunnan Energy New Material Co., Ltd. (002812.SZ), announced that SEMCORP Hungary Kft, a subsidiary of the Company, and French Automotive Cells Company SE (ACC) signed a supply agreement for lithium battery isolation film products. SEMCORP Hungary Kft will supply approximately EUR 655 million of lithium battery isolation film products to ACC from 2024 to 2030.
The company is very pleased to share the ambition with ACC to build on sustainability leading roles in the European battery market. This long-term partnership will provide SEMCORP Hungary Kft a secured access to substantial demand of lithium battery isolation film products and further expand its steps in European market and in the EV value chain. Meanwhile, ACC will have high-quality, high-performing and stable source for battery material to supply its future large-scale battery factories as European leader for car batteries.
This partnership is expected to have a positive influence on Yunnan Energy New Material’s operating performance from 2024 to 2030, the company stated in the announcement.
