PVTIME – On July 1st, Zhongrun New Energy (Chuzhou) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SolarSpace Group which engaged in the R&D, production and sales of high-efficiency solar cells, has hold a ceremony to launch its large-scale high-efficiency photovoltaic cell project.
The total investment of the project is 10.5 billion yuan. It is planned to reach an annual output of 16GW of high-efficiency solar cells in two phases of 8GW each, and the first phase is scheduled to be put into operation in January 2023.
Zhongrun New Energy (Chuzhou) was established on June 1, 2022 and is one of the subsidiaries of SolarSpace Group. The group expected to reach production capacity of 32.6GW of solar cells and 4.5GW of modules in 2022. And it will further expand its production capacity to reach production capacity of 38GW of high-efficiency solar cells and 7GW of module in 2023 as a leading company in the PV industry.
