PVTIME – On November 28, a groundbreaking ceremony for high-efficiency solar cell production was hold by Shangrao Jietai New Energy Tech Co., Ltd. (Jietai Tech), a company focuses on the research and development of highly efficient solar cells and a subsidiary of Hainan Drinda New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.(002865.SZ).
The production base locates in Lianshui Industrial Park, with a total investment of 13 billion yuan and a planned production capacity of 26GW high-efficiency solar cell, which will be the largest investment and production capacity base of Jietai Tech.
It will be the world’s largest and most intelligent n-type solar cell manufacturing base as well. It is calculated that the annual output value will reach 35 billion yuan once upon completion, and more than 5,000 jobs will be offered to local people.
