PVTIME – On 22 February 2023, Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd. (Huawei Digital Power), a leading global provider of digital power products and solutions, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co., Ltd. (601222.SH), a China-based company mainly engaged in smart energy, energy saving and renewable energy solutions, in Shenzhen City, China.
At the signing ceremony, both parties introduced their strategic layout, business situation and development plans, reviewed their cooperation achievements, summarised their cooperation experiences, discussed the prospects and future opportunities of the global PV and energy storage industries, and looked forward to the next stage of cooperation in the fields of new energy power metering, PV inverters and energy storage. And then signed an agreement to achieve mutual benefits.
According to the agreement, the two sides will jointly build large-scale ground clean power stations and bases in the next two years, committee to integrated demonstration projects, including the source, grid, load and energy storage for electricity powered by renewable energy. Meanwhile, the two sides will promote string-type intelligent energy storage system to support ecosystem-based energy solutions with related demonstration projects. In addition, smart metering, digital energy and management optimisation will also be addressed to drive the energy revolution for a better, greener future.
The partnership between Lingyang Energy and Huawei Digital Energy started in 2015 with inverters for photovoltaic power plants, digital energy and internet for the energy sector. In the future, they will continue to collaborate on ground power plants, energy storage and distributed PV projects to promote green and smart energy and carbon neutrality.
